Self-care for HSP?

Chiropractic Care/ Facial/ Craniosacral Massage/ Dancing/Yoga/ Walking/ Biking/ Meditation/ Prayer/Praise & Worship/ Mani/Pedi Hair Done /A Nap /Bed Early /Monitoring Media Intake /Scheduling /Good Boundaries/ Positive Self-Talk/Reflection/Processing/ Family Time/ and the list goes on and on.

The truth is, self-care for an HSP is simple it is taking the time out to care for your own needs. Much of what HSPs endure starts due to the lack of self-care or attention to detail when it comes to themselves. HSPs are so intentional about how they interact with others and how they spend their time with their loved ones. It can be draining at times and cause cycles of anxiety and depression. Many of the activities above help HSPs to recharge and pour into themselves. Many of these things are not extra but can be mandatory to help HSPs feel balanced and rested enough to tackle their day.

I’ll be honest a lot of HSPs feel guilty for taking this type of time to love on themselves when quite honestly it’s a must-do. Don’t feel guilty for taking care of yourself because it helps you do what you love to the most——take care of others.
